Engage with the developer community through conferences, meetups, hackathons, and online forums
Build demonstration applications showcasing common messaging patterns (transactional notifications, marketing campaigns, customer support)
Monitor and respond to developer questions across GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, and other community channels
Partner with GTM team to provide technical expertise during customer implementations and create sales enablement materials
Track and report on developer satisfaction metrics, API usage patterns, and community growth

3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, technical evangelism, solutions engineering, or similar developer-facing role
Strong programming skills in multiple languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, etc.) with proven ability to build production applications
Deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, and messaging technologies (SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Experience creating technical content that developers actually use and share
Passion for building and engaging with developer communities
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address developer pain points
Ability to build relationships, collaborate with others, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
Nice to have:
Experience with CPaaS platforms (Twilio, MessageBird, SendGrid)
Active presence in developer communities (GitHub, Twitter, dev.to)
Conference speaking experience
Understanding of messaging compliance and deliverability
Previous experience at an API-first company
